For energy saving in cooling towers.
Most of woven sacks industries use cooling tower with fan or with water spray pumps .All cooling towers are designed
by considering operate when atmospheric temperature is too high such as in month of May And June but when atmospheric
temperature is low or at different line speed or in winter season or in rainy season (night) and sometime suddenly
weather changes water temperature becomes lower and plant operator reduces water inlet to quenching tank to maintain
temperature required for film. Normally it is done by half closing gate valve which forces to operate pump at more load,
which consumes more power.
It is better to switch off fan or water spray pump and switch on when temperature rises more than requirement.
We have designed our controller to do this automatically and record hours of switched off fan or water spray pump.
In case of air intake it automatically switches off water pump. It is observed that automatic switching off by controller
occurs 8 to 12 hours in winter, 2 to 6 hours in spring, 4 to 8 hours in rainy and 0 to 2 hours in summer.
Pay back period is 1 to 3 months.
This software is designed to monitor how efficiently power is utilized? It let's you know
what is actual cost per kg (or production), what is unit per kg (or production). How efficiently your D.G. Set is
operated.
When and what amount of your Demand is Jumped? What amount of rebate you can get and what amount you are getting?
You can also forecast your electricity bill for financial planning or you can check and verify your bill also.
Other important data which you get are - Duration of power supply from SEB and D.G. Set, P.F., Maximum Demand date-wise,
month-wise and year-wise.
